Wine and Cheese
The Dills and the Phelpi came over after poker last night for a nightcap. Brian made artichoke and spinach dip, and also cut up some of our favorite cheese.
Speaking of favorites, these are two of our favorite wines.
The d’Arenberg Stump Jump is one of Brian’s favorites. It’s like his everyday drinking wine. He drinks about a bottle of this a week so we were actually contemplating buying a case when we were at Groves yesterday. Except, we didn’t have a place to store it.
The Hogue late harvest riesling is Misty’s and April’s favorite. I’m not much of a wine drinker, but I guess this is mine too, because I will actually drink it. The best part about both wines is that they are both under $10.
Hurrah for good cheap wine!

Post-Poker Nightcap : Life After Marriage says:[...] We had our best buds over for some munchies after poker at Nikki’s last night. I think they all ended up with contact high from a couple of guys playing poker with us who reeked of marijuana. Of course, I got picked on because I don’t know what it smells like. I think I know now. Anyway, if you’re going to smoke that stuff on the way to poker, Jay recommends at least rolling the windows down. [...]
