Joanie’s Happy Days Diner
We found this diner at the hotel concierge’s recommendation. We actually ate at Joanie’s twice: Saturday and Sunday. Not only was the location convenient (it’s right by our hotel), but the food was good and the servings were hefty.
Our complementary fruit plate…
Food!
I love corned beef hash. It’s one of my favorite things to eat for breakfast.
Brian and Jay loved the fat steak fries.
Becca’s Canadian bacon.
Corned beef hash omelet with NO cheese!
That’s what I got the next time we went. It wasn’t on the menu, but I figured they could make it because they have eggs and they have corned beef hash. LOL.
Brian and Jay both got bagels and fries.
Becca got a big, fluffy Belgian waffle with powdered sugar and buttah!
I’d definitely go eat at Joanie’s again. If you find yourself staying at the Courtyard Marriott at Fishermans Wharf be sure to check it out. It’s just a stones throw from the front door of the hotel.
One thing we learned is you have to ask the locals. They sure know where to eat!
