Wild Bill’s Steakhouse & Saloon
Brian and I also got to dine at Wild Bill’s over the weekend. We were at Legends at Village West Mall and we were trying to figure out where to eat. We usually got to Dave and Buster’s when we’re there, but we were kind of Dave and Buster’d out. We wanted to try something different.
The last time we ate at Wild Bill’s it was called Saddle Ranch Chop House and they had this little gift shop inside the restaurant. That was at least a couple of years ago. Wild Bill’s is not a great departure. Much of the decor is the same so the theme is still very much country western. The little gift shop is gone, though. They had tables over in that part of the restaurant.
The biggest change that I noticed, however, is the mechanical bull in the middle of the restaurant. Brian and I got to try it out after we ate. I think it’s probably better if you ride the mechanical bull before you eat. Otherwise, there’s high probability of losing your lunch.
Anyway, I liked the homemade potato chips that they serve you while you wait for your meal. It’s nice and crunchy. I have no idea how they get it so crunchy like that, but I like it.
Brian is looking the menu over in the photo above. In the meantime, I’m checking out that mechanical bull. “Is that a functional mechanical bull or strictly for decoration?” I asked our server.
We got to know first hand how real it is. It was so fun. I can’t wait to go again. Maybe we’ll go back one evening. Our server said that they have live music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, followed by a DJ later in the evening when the place turns into a dance club.
Oh, the food wasn’t bad either. Here are a couple of obligatory food pictures…
This is the lunch-sized portion of the spaghetti. The serving is pretty generous. I actually didn’t finish it.
This is the chicken sandwich with a kick. Brian said it was pretty good. The prices are reasonable also. We are likely to return.

Great Post! I actually got to dine here a couple of days ago and the food was very good and the portions were generous. Our party didn’t get the potato chips though
The Chicken Fried Chicken is truly a delicious dish there and for dessert the bread pudding is to die for!
