Pei Wei Asian Diner
Everyone is being nice to me lately. I don’t know if it’s because they feel sorry for me with Brian being away and everything, but I sure am enjoying it.
I finally got a chance to try Pei Wei today courtesy of Jenni. It was actually pretty good. There were a few downsides, though. First, they only offer Coke products. So no Pepsi, mine and Brian’s soda of choice. Second, the menu is pretty limited. If you’re expecting the same selection as their popular cousin P.F. Chang’s, prepare to be disappointed. Third, they do not offer any desserts. At least, I didn’t see a dessert list anywhere.
Yesterday April and Cory treated me to lunch at Yen Ching before I had go to the Wichita Garden Show. It’s been forever since I’ve been to Yen Ching. I think I’ll have to start going again. My meal was delicious. Besides the food being good, it’s also an outstanding value. If you order one of the lunch specials, you get a salad, egg drop soup, crab rangoon, some kind of pork dumpling thing, and rice (either fried or steamed) along with your dish. All of that for under $6. You really can’t beat it!
