Carla wasn’t feeling well that day so Paul came by himself. Jenni and Jan both joined us for lunch also. Mom couldn’t make it due to a showing appointment. Armando wasn’t feeling well so Jen and Armando couldn’t come. Gina Ann tried, but Carolyn was sick. She actually got to the restaurant and had to turn around and leave. =(

Our large group was cut in half, but it still turned out well. Why? Because the food is always amazing at Taste & See. Check out these beautiful starters that tasted just as good as they looked.

Jenni had a salad.

Brian had the special of the day, a delectable prosciutto sandwich.

Paul got the SSB, which is Jan’s favorite sandwich there.

I had the hamburguesa, which I’d been craving ever since I saw a picture of it on Facebook a couple of weeks ago.

We finished our meal with a very rich cuatro leches cake.

I haven’t had a lunch like that in a long, long time — or maybe ever. It was amazing! After the New Year, Brian and I will be back on our protein shake diet. Blech. Although, at least I’ll have all of these pictures of food to remember these moments. LOL.
