Back at Walt’s
Brian and I went to Walt’s Sports Bar & Grill on Friday night after the first day of the TD Ameritrade investing seminar at Century II. I mostly took him there for the sake of nostalgia. It’s the place where we met for the first time over twelve years ago. The place is a lot smaller than I remembered. Then again, when you’re young, everything seems bigger.
Brian and I were both trying to be good so we each only had one drink and shared a chicken strip dinner. He had a Sam Adams Boston Lager because it is the one beer that doesn’t cause a negative reaction from his body. I had a sex on the beach, which was my drink of choice back then.
I really like Walt’s. Besides the nostalgia factor, the food and drinks are reasonably priced and their restrooms are clean. It’s one of my favorite bars in town. It’s no Louie’s, but it’s definitely up there on my list.
