Dick’s Last Resort
On our first night in Boston, we ate at Dick’s Last Resort in Quincy Market. None of us had ever been there so we decided to try it. They have an appetizer menu, but they don’t have a food menu. You pretty much just have to check the sign on the wall for what you want to eat.
They have live music that starts around 9 pm on Saturday nights. We were all very tired, though, so we didn’t stay for it. Brian got a kick out of this wall. If you look closely, it says “Wichita” on it.
We don’t have a Dick’s Last Resort in Wichita, though.
I thought the shirts were a better value than the food. For the price that you pay, I think you can get better food elsewhere. Go inside Quincy Market and eat there instead. There are tons of less expensive options.
We had to check it out, though, because none of us had ever been. The bibs they put on you are kind of fun. I threatened to wear it everywhere I went. I didn’t actually do it, though.
Our server put a funny hat on Jay. Brian got one, too.
It was okay overall. I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to eat there again. It’s kind of hard to top Skipper’s Dock in Stonington, though. After that, everything just pales in comparison.
