I’d been hearing rumors of Chick-Fil-A coming to Wichita (a real, honest-to-goodness Chick-Fil-A and not the little Chick-Fil-A they have at Wichita State) for over a year now and still nothing. The last news I heard was that maybe they’ll be opening a location on the East side of town in 2012.

Anyone know if this is the site?

We were supposed to go to Jay and Becca’s right after work to book our Boston trip but, when we called them, they were at Arby’s. Because Brian and I are pests, we decided to invade their dinner.

Afterward, the four of us headed to their place to book the flights for the Boston trip. Since the flights are booked, there’s no backing out now!

P.S. I’m still regretting the Arby’s. Going to make up for it tomorrow, though. Anyone want to play some racquetball with me?

Brian and I got to try Panda Express for the first time on Thursday. The new restaurant had been open for a while now. We decided to wait a few weeks because restaurants are usually very during the first few days that they’re open. We figured that it would be too bad at this point. We were wrong.

It was so packed! There was no where to sit. Brian asked if we wanted to grab our food to go and just eat it at the Y, but I figured we could probably just share a table with another couple. We’d done that before.

Luckily for us, we rant into Luann and Curtis. They were in front of us in line. I asked Luann if it would be okay for the four of us to sit and eat together and she said sure. So as soon as I found an empty table, I told Brian what I wanted, left the line, and grabbed it. We hadn’t seen them since our days at Highlands and it was really nice being able to catch up. It actually worked out great.

As for the food, it was okay. I didn’t think it was as spectacular, though. It is fast food, after all. The selection was good and the prices were reasonable so it’s a pretty good value. As fast food joints go, this is probably one that I wouldn’t mind visiting on occasion.

We had us some Chick-Fil-A last weekend. Yum!
